I was torn between getting the Festool or the Micro-jig clamps but the Micro-jig definitely have a couple of big advantages over the Festool clamps. Since I own both I can confidently give the match fit clamps the nod. Both clamps are very similar in strength, price, and general clamping ability, but that's where the similarity ends. I was trying to use my miter saw to get an absolutely straight cut across a curved and rounded workpiece without success. I eventually decided to make a simple jig and try the same cut on the table saw. The matchfit system made the cut simple and repeatable. I just wish they came in an 8 or 12 pack with a price break. You can also remove and reverse the clamp head on the matchfit whereas the Festool is permanently attached. Also the new grips on the matchfit allow a more comfortable grip and less slippage when applying maximum force to the clamp.

This is a clamp!

It doesn't seem to matter what hobby you into, if it involves creating, assembling, gluing, putting disc brake pistons back into the caliper, or just a flashlight, sooner or later you're going to need a clamp. I've got drawers full of clamps, each seemingly for a different clamping job. While trying to think of what I wanted to say in this review, I got to thinking how many of these clamps I have could be replaced with just this one. The answer is pretty much all of them! Take the common "C" clamp. A fixed head and a screw type mechanical adjustment/clamping force part. Slide a wooden block on the top of this clamp and it's the same as a "C" clamp. Need a set of clamps to clamp the edge of a door in place for gluing? Route grooves into a board, lay the board where you need clamping power and slide these clamps into the grooves and tighten. Equal pressure over a long glue joint. If you need a clamp for something, and you think about it, you can probably think of a way to make these work for you. I've currently got four, and I have little doubt that I'll double that in the not too distant future. Need to hold a sacrificial face to your table saws rip fence? Yep, this'll do it!

Very good quality

I bought these to use for cutting beveled legs and jointing boards on the table saw. They are great quality and work for what i needed but the price is to high at $45.00. I could see these retailing at $30.00 maybe $35 but they are a great tool and very versatile .

Used on Festool MFT table

Works great in combo with Festool MFT table and saves you a bit of money compared to their clamps! These are high quality heavy duty clamps. I use them on my table for all my work with the Festool Domino.

Like Tony The Tiger says: THEY’RE GREAT !!!!

Holds work pieces in place with zero issues. No slipping or issues with clamps loosening.

A bit pricey but very handy.

These have so many uses that I decided to pay the price to have a set in my shop. I use them on my home-made taper jig and they work real well to hold down stock of any thickness without getting in the way. I had to buy a dovetail bit but I didn't buy the more expensive one from Micro Jig but opted to get the Freud bit and it worked fine.

Great for shop jigs and fixtures

Forget t-tracks and 1/4" or 5/16" bolts. This makes it very easy for any jig or shop fixture to have clamping built in. I used a Freud 1/2" 14 deg dovetail bit. Make sure that the bit height is 3/8" and the clamps work like a champ. So far I'm using them as a clamp for my benchtop router table, stop block for bandsaw and tablesaws. Its really a brilliant innovation. I cut one star because of the price. These need to be $25-$30 for more widespread adoption.
