His company is called Houses for Life.  He is an entrepreneur at heart but thinks he is doing the right thing by building prefabricated homes so that the poor can live like the rich.  They are overly stylish dysfunctional prebuilt homes that he cannot sell.  They're a metaphor for his way of living.  Overly styled to hide his insecurities and at the same time unrepresentative of the needs of the poor.
