Goodreads Quote of the Day for Saturday
In books and in life, you need to read several pages before someone's true character is revealed.
Gail Carson Levine (born September 17, 1947) is the author of Ella Enchanted, an adaptation of Cinderella that received a Newbery Honor in 1998 and was the inspiration for the movie starring Anne Hathaway in 2004. It was Levine’s first novel, and she’s gone on to write other young adult stories with fairy tale themes, including The Two Princesses of Bamarre, Fairest, Ever, and The Princess Tales series. She works from her 200-year-old farmhouse in upstate New York.
