Goodreads Quote of the Day for Tuesday
Never call anyone a baboon unless you are sure of your facts.
Humorist and literary critic Will Cuppy (born August 23, 1884) wrote satirical works with titles like How to Tell Your Friends from the Apes, How to Attract the Wombat, The Decline and Fall of Practically Everybody, and How to Be a Hermit, or a Bachelor Keeps House. The latter was the result of living alone in a shack off Long Island in the 1920s. He kept to himself even when he returned to New York, writing essays for The New Yorker and reviewing mysteries and crime fiction for the New York Herald Tribune.
