About Horace
Horace is a failing architect. His firm is trying to sell prefabricated architectural solutions to developers. This is a metaphor for life. Our existence is prefabricated (i.e. we are the product of other people, DNA reused). His company is called DNA Solutions or something to that effect. He is overworked and has lost all but one of the clients that could possibly bail his company out. He hasn't realized that his ego (love of his design) is getting in the way of his business (to mass produce it). The clients scoff when they discover he really is just trying to sell them a one-of-a-kind factory-built design not intended for mass production.
He has not told his family that his business is failing. He has not told them that they need to cut back on spending, sell the home, take the kids out of private school, etc. In fact, he just been getting himself in more and more debt. The stress of trying to keep his company and and his family's standard of living afloat has grown too much for him to handle. And unbeknownst to him
