Loosens up and asks him about the curriculum at U of Cairo.  If he chose his major, if he can take electives, do they offer sports classes.  Then she suggests, "Wouldn't a course in journalism help with your stories?" 

She thought his story "Crime of Moon" was intriguing and asks him several editorial questions about it.  She refers to her own story "Wish on a Star" as an example similar to his marriage of horror and humor.  She asks him if any of his family reads (or knows of) his stories and "Why" does he write.  

She tells him about her best friend Kay in detail and how their mothers call them sisters.  

She asks him what he thought about the Abraham Lincoln book and that she has read the life story of General Naguib.
