Happy birthday, Lemony Snicket! His real name is Daniel Handler, but you wouldn't be blamed for getting the man and his writing alter ego confused. During promotion for A Series of Unfortunate Events (which was published under his Lemony Snicket pen name), he would often introduce himself as Lemony Snicket's handler.
