Be yourself and let yourself grow

So it's Wednesday, March 11th at 11.02 a.m. and I just had a session with Lisa and I just wanted to get this down so that I don't forget it and she kind of reminded me. I need to have a mantra or kind of image or anything that reminds me to speak my mind and emotions freely and overcome the suppression trigger to not speak how I feel. So classic example is, you know, there I must make a decision and there is the the decision to one choice will upset me but perhaps appear to be more ethically valued whereas the other decision will please me and not really hurt anyone but in some aspect appear less ethical. And so my suppression response there would be to obviously choose the one that appears to make me look like a good person. So I think if I were to say my mantra would be to stop appearing to be the good person. Be yourself and Heidi says, know thyself. And so yeah, now what are the dynamics behind it? Well, you don't want to appear like you don't know what you're saying. You don't want to appear like you're not prepared but you can't help that. You have to just be yourself. And you have to be your real self. Be willing to learn. Be willing to adjust. Be yourself and let yourself grow.
