Okay, it's 9.53 a.m. on December 19th testing.

Okay it's 9.53 a.m. on December 19th. We're leaving for Egypt today. It's Thursday, rainy day. I'm at home. Just took a shower and I had some great story ideas and I need to record them. I'm gonna make it quick and transcribe later. Basically I got the kind of setting the stage part up until they're seated together on the plane. So Rosa is a clerk in the Lemisa County paper. She's having another boring day. You know trying to figure out what to do because it's gonna be just a long time before closing and you can provide a little bit of background on her but she's deciding on what story should work on today and she pulls out her little spin wheel and it lands on mystery today. So today is gonna be a mystery day. She has a spin wheel because she doesn't know what kind of writer she's gonna be and she's always practicing you know from various different forms. And just as the spin wheel stops and she realizes today is gonna be a mystery day. The olive skinned man walks in and she thinks to herself, oh no another Aaron boy. You know someone who speaks just enough English so that they can send him to do their work for him. But when he you know as he when he puts the you know as he rests his paper down on the counter she suddenly discovers that she might be wrong. He starts to speak in what's perfect English and she notices his fancy smartwatch and his boots have zero dirt on them or let's just say they look like they haven't his hands look like they haven't seen a hard day's work in their life. Although rugged soft hands. Something clues her in he's not an Aaron boy. And she starts to speak to him well either she waits for him to come to the desk and then she speaks to him in Spanish just without even lifting her head and then that's when he speaks the perfect English. And then she looks up and notices, hmm okay. How can I help you and he submits the application and she notes the site number and she's like wait a minute. Who are you? Did they change owners and he explains her that that was his partner who had been coming in most of the time and he's had some he just had a baby or something like that and he's going to have to he's carrying most of the load. So you know she when she notices the name she she kind of does a double take she doesn't know why but she does and you know kind of processes the application with a you know she's kind of intrigued but she still doesn't know why. And so finally you know she gives him either a receipt that this will be printed in the next day's run and he goes on his way and as she files the paper she sees the handwritten note on the back and she runs you know she runs out that or she reads the note and says like a flat an airline name and a flight number and so but she can't tell the exact day and it's most likely out of Houston. So well it is out of Houston because a flight number will only be for a certain destination. So she runs out the door saying it looking for him and he's he's he's not there he's long gone and she's like oh well. um She uh this may or may not be an additional aside she decides maybe to go to the site and look for him and kind of provide this like fake story that she needs to give him his phone back and uh uh she wants to give it to him in person and everything and so the the workers there don't tell her you know well he's art he said he was going to Houston. Um and the funny thing is is like one of the last things one of the workers says is I just called him he just called and said he was going to Houston so from his phone how could he have lost his phone. Um So they smile and laugh it off um but uh like he's a player or something like that um and that's when she concocts up she goes back home does some research and finds out more about him and uh or at least the name she doesn't know who he is or anything yet uh she she she knows he's a partner in an oil company and that's it but um she does uh uh she remembers the name from her past and that's when she discovers you know she recounts all the stories that her mom or she recalls the stories that her mom would tell her about Florence and the man that she wrote letters to and so um um she finally gets the will to um hop on the next bus to Houston and uh or get on a flight hop on the bus to Lamisa and get on a flight to Houston and uh try and get uh a flight to Egypt I'm pausing here because I might be needed or interrupted

Okay, so she only has the flight number and she knows it leaves certain days and that's when she tries basically to get on the next flight. She has no idea when he's leaving but she she just has a hunch that that he's gonna be on one of these flights. She keeps trying getting putting more and more on her credit card and she just is struggling. She doesn't know if she's doing the right thing. She wants a great story. She wants a great mystery but she just doesn't know and finally you know she's at her her wits end. She she's changed her flight almost 10 times and she has to call it quits. She's just feeling so dejected and as she's up at the gate about to change her flight he walks in and sits down. He doesn't notice her but and it's literally the flight is about to board and so and he's on some I guess he's got a mileage. He's a member of some program and he immediately boards and she realizes she needs to stay on the flight. Before she even talks to anyone her name is called finally off of standby and and perhaps maybe she was never called and she's always been on standby the whole time but she boards too and that's when she's you know gets on the plane she starts looking up in first class and she gets busted and escorted to her seat at the back of the plane and she's she's happy that she got on the flight but then she suddenly realizes what has she done. She she wonders is this what Florence was feeling and she starts to panic you know before she was feeling dejected and stupid and she was in her her own place but now she's already starting to feel that she's about to put herself seriously out of place and the flight attendant is trying to help her and as she's trying to help her or perhaps as another passenger is is trying to tell her to calm down and rings the flight attendant button and you can see the flight attendant coming. Horus walks out of the bathroom and then that's when he kind of helps her he recalls her from the office and you know instantly just says oh to the person sitting next to her why don't you have my seat up front and he's you know completely cools off the whole situation and sits down next to her and that's essentially how the first couple of chapters of flight of Horus starts done
