[Excellent] Ihagee Dresden - Exakta VXIIa with the Waistlevel Viewfinder + Steinheil Munchen 40mm Lens. Condition is "Used".

This camera works flawlessly.  It does not require any maintenance or CLA.  It is ready for you to start taking exposures.  If you're a collector of early single lens reflex cameras, get it because Exaktas like these don't come around that often!

The Lens (Nr 659340):
The Steinheil Munchen 40mm F3.5 VL Cassaron is Cooke triplet design.  Focus and aperture ring move smoothly.  I've added a cover and UV filter for protection.  It produces great pictures.  See items pics that demonstrate viewing through the waistlevel viewfinder at f/3.5.

The camera body (SN 826286):
All functions work.  Shutter fires at all speeds.  Timer works at all speeds.  Film advance/rewind work as expected.  The leather is in overall great condition.  There is some cosmetic damage to the leather on the back.  See pics.  There is a bottom stamp on the camera "USSR Occupied"

The waistlevel viewfinder:
The hood opens by pressing the rear button as expected.  The focusing magnifier opens and closes with the handle on the side of the hood (as expected).  It can be released from the body by pressing the button just under the name plate.
