Habits/Mannerisms: Drinks a lot of coffee and smokes, loves to grow tulips,
Background: Son of a tenant farmer who’s failed attempt to cultivate (cotton) land of his own in San Pedro, Texas led him to a life of ginning. Ginning is the easy life, it’s reliable (guaranteed) because cotton farmer’s must entrust this middleman with their bales.
Internal Conflicts: Fear of loss and separation, annihilation
External Conflicts: Feels as though his wife is constantly dictating his emotional well-being with her outbursts
