Meet the correspondents: Joëlle B.> La Rochelle

Hello everyone,

First of all I'm delighted to be welcomed in this friendly community and thank the whole team for the invitation.

Parisian home - without driving license (!) - I am a bitumen looper.

Of course, my best holidays are hard. Moreover, c ' is returning from a walk in the desert that I am thrown me in the drawing, imitating a hiker came with papers and pencils. A revelation ! The memories of the place, the inevitable interaction with people, everything remains etched indelibly in the memory.

So the camera was quickly scrapped and watercolor travelogues chained themselves.

Then I discovered the USK Paris and participated in some outlets hoping to me, finally, urban sketches.

Except I moved to La Rochelle, there are just three years, to follow my companion. A town where I had never set foot ...

So, more friends, more neighborly relations ... and more USK either!

No way to stay in my corner. I subscribe to illico an internship contemporary travel book, led by Florent Silloray, comic book, the live model during painting. In short, I met a few people magnet sketching.

The ritual of Saturday: Les Halles, coffee, sketch ...

But to draw the streets regularly, there was still a short step.

So here I started ... Anyway, I already noticed the "booster" effect of being part of USK France! More question of releasing the pencil! Besides drawings are a real source of inspiration and motivation.

My favorite themes: the people, the lifestyle, the landscape ... but here it is also boats and architecture! Ya taf!
