Time to start talking about wrapping up chapter 1. The rewrite of course. It's Tuesday, October 2nd. Got to write this. So what's going on here in chapter 1? It's clear that my style is the unprepared or unreliable narrator. It seems like a natural voice for me. The challenge there is obviously to eventually provide a well-rounded score in the scattered rooms that are retold. And of course the first person there is challenging the transriculum. It's kind of like an ambulance and there are many reasons to keep going. The color is that. It's a very good time to be curious. What else? Oh by the way, I should off the next one. Thanks for your attention on Friday and 3 days. I'll be a CD life after that. So I'm trying to recall what causes Adam to write. We can tell in the story how his dad took over the family business and met his mom at the same time. That was when he was looking at the doubt. He was thinking about what was underneath the doubt. So there's only one thing to be done to be a metaphor for. It's character background and in the other sense who he is. So I'm going to get to think about how much he can picture these people. And it has to be a recovery kind of descriptive to a descriptive feature for each one of these. It's got to be a Sunday glasses. There's sunglasses with regular glasses. I don't know what he's doing. So Adam's father George assumes the business and never graduates from college. And his younger brother, William, shortly thereafter finishes college. With the degree in business administration. I believe that they should turn the family business around and build a new set of contacts and partnerships outside the small town. I mean, with beyond the bigger towns now. He may want it but Adam's ultimate, not Adam, George's ultimate kind of doubtfulness or of his brothers and tens and George's of the plan in general. And he's getting more harmed than it's good for him. But before that occurs, his brother actually helps him reconnect. He doesn't know it. He helps his brother reconnect to the woman he had a curly had a crush on in high school. You know, I want to say it will be in the late 70s sometimes. It's still having 10 points in town a year. I think that's why George lost a few small contacts. I think that's why George is here. I think that's why George is here. I don't know. You know, right? George is clearly an operational person. He's not good at building relationships. He's good at trying to keep things in a small place. He's actually good at building things. He's doing what he's doing. He's actually running a business. That's where we're in shows. He's kind of excelled better than his brother. But it's William's idea to invite these cool, cool Houston boys over for a visit. I don't know how it's going to go. The Houston boys are vaguely referenced because you don't have to do that. I think it's going to be a big deal. I'm just going to call him that because he's represented the players of the oil and gas industry. Those who represent those who are much more cutthroat. It's about completing the job, not determining what's best for the client. It's about getting paid and saving yourself half the amount of work that you promised about beating your competitors at any possible cost. It's about, let's say, pure competition to them. The reservation contract is an example of how it was the kind of right of passage for the company. The right of passage that father failed, failed at doing, it completed, and a one that allowed his brother to take it over the business. Now what happened to his dad? One thing that happened was that in the midst of his brother going back and forth to Houston, he obviously coming in straight from the airport, such as Luggett always down in the office and starts to tell his brother about who he's found or what kind of lead he's made. He always smells of alcohol and maybe he has stories to tell how he and the Houston boys are able to show him the real good times. So in any case, he brought a copy of the paper. The Houston post now be sunk. There was an article. He didn't recall that. Let's take a second. It's possible that his brother says, hey, what was the name of that girl you liked or how do you retell it that son who only heard the story growing up? I don't know, daddy. He's trying to clean up his office. Trying to do it. That is King of Custard's paper. The first thing he noticed was the name of the reporter. He said, hey, where are you? I'm going to call him Bill. Where'd you get this paper? I don't know. Did you want me to sue this paper? What are you talking about? That's when George points out the name of the reporter to where they are. I'm going to call him Bill. I'm going to call him Bill. I'm going to call him Bill. He said, you have to say something, isn't it? Not a reasonable but a half. It's at this point that Adam starts calling Bill. He's Uncle Bill is telling him and not what his father is telling him. It's Uncle Bill's telling him that once the daddy saw that name again. He was like he was staring right into those brown eyes of hers. He was dumbstruck. He wanted to get to Houston at any possible cost. That's what made him accept money from the Houston boys. Now maybe Houston boys are going to pay him off to silently keep him. He did not expose where he is. Where the hell came from? He will have to go to prison for it. But his life was slow. So he needs to have arguments over the ethics of his decision. But how did he win her over? Maybe he comes to Houston. If she works in Houston she never wanted to. Maybe he comes several times to the hospital and asks for her and discovers that she's in Egypt. Maybe something has to happen to him the day. He has to appear to be a doctor. He has to appear to be a doctor. He can't go to Egypt. She can't be allowed back in. Maybe that's the case. What could have been going on in the evening? Maybe she was trying to clear the way. Maybe her service. Maybe she's trying to uncover it. Maybe she was trying to find out that the reporter was doing some smell of Texas. The reporter is the one who searches for truth. She had the help of her pen doll. Maybe she was trying to expose that book. Maybe she was trying to find out that the book had a role in killing her.
