Not Impossible – Let Your Eyes Do the Writing
The EyeWriter project is the Not Impossible Foundation’s flagship effort to make a “lightweight, low-cost, portable device for art and communication.” No one can attest to the benefit of the project more than the LA based artist Tony “Tempt” Quan. He has been living with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) for almost eight years now and on his way to returning to a successful art practice due to the help of the EyeWriter team and the pledges from supporters of the project.

I believe at our art world . Sometimes we do need some people to help nameless artist. There are too many artists strive for their dream. But sometimes , they just need more support. I am glad we have this foundation to help them. -

It is amazing how the human spirit perseveres. The drive and energy put forth to pursue your passion is admirable. There is little that can be done to keep human spirit down once it has been ignited.

Great project. I watched the video on Not Impossible Foundation’s web site and can’t believe how easy it could be to get these tools onto the faces of artists who need them. What a wonderful gift to give someone who has lost their ability to have a creative outlet and create art! My uncle was recently diagnosed with ALS; I will defiantly be forwarding this link t him.

This must have been a nice project. The name is catchy as well. Seriously nothing is impossible it allows the viewers to see for themselves that everything is possible. Someone who loses their will to be creative but on that you give them the will to be creative through art. Being creative through art can be hard but if you really want to get it done you can make it happen. This story can be shared with a lot of people who are in doubts with themselves. Something like this can give someone the desire to make something out of nothing out of themselves. Thumbs up for this one!

I believe this is one of the most innovative and creative tools that I have seen in a very long time. it reminds me of Stephen Hawking, though it seemed this brilliant person was trapped in his body, through science he has been able to continually enlighten, educate and stir within us the desire to strive to be more and learn more. I am truly excited not only for the world of art but the other arenas in which the future may find use for this. I cannot even imagine what it would feel like to feel trapped when you have so much to share, the vision and desire to create. I am looking forward to the development and further use of this. I will also be looking for ways to support this project.

It’s a blessing how art has come a long way. I think that it is awesome how you’re diagnosed with this disease and still kept your dreams and didn’t lose your passion. There’s always a good in a bad situation, and you are someone I can look up to, no matter what you keep pushing yourself for success. That’s what I call a strong minded person and I hope you keep pushing forward with what you desire.
