Alright, so Wednesday, I'm working to work. It's about 8.48 am. That's an MLK junior high. And I'm trying to think about how to characterize Christian a little bit more and get some background to the people in his life. The primary character in the shape to his father works as a... You could say a project manager or a technician in the waste control services facility in Andrews, Texas, a toxic waste dump site that's situated a little too close to the southwestern perimeter of the Ogolala aquifer. I think we're talking on campus. Perhaps he's sitting down with his TA through his final paper. He is shuffling through his backpack and accidentally pulls out an email from his dad or an email that he may have accidentally printed out by mistake when he was trying to print out his paper. And basically we need to have the content of that email and email is an excellent, but contemporary way of discussing the epitolary form. And in that email it's kind of a good spot. Either asking and if he plans on... ...to spend the entire summer in Andrews and dad when we chose this to either. And that he found him an internship at the facility or... ...and that's really the only option to find... ...and clearly the president doesn't want to go to toxic dump site. So, he decides that he needs to go or he's trying to figure out what to do at least for the summer because he knows he can always come back for love again. So, he starts school again and falls. I mean he could go to the summer school registration as ended, but that's kind of... ...not that's ended, but something keeps him away from love. Something drives him away. And not really sure what that is. I mean if you're trying to tell your father that you don't want to work for him for the summer, it's your other go. You'd rather do something else. You'd have to kind of come up with a plan. And maybe his plan is to say that... ...he was taking, he got an internship at... ...the Bechtel or another engineering firm in Austin. Or maybe he got an internship at the city of Austin. Yeah, is there... ...trying to assess the cost of relocating... ...their water plants or power plants that's sitting in the middle of the city. That's actually not a bad idea. It brings back... ...brings the water device back into the... ...sort of spine of the story. It's a lie, he knows he's not getting an internship or anything like that. But it buys him some time. And the only thing is to figure out how it's way to get the money to do this. And I'm glad to try to talk with him. Maybe he's... ...so he starts to search frantically online and realizes that apartments cost too much. And by the way, I was just trying to get his English paper out of his backpack to struggle for him. He's... ...stuck on to the flashback here. He emailed that he had the right to this desk telling him he's not gonna... ...he's not gonna be there. It's kind of difficult for him to write because he knows his father would like to have his company. Because he's been living so long without a companion after his mother died. But at the same time... ...he knows because he's what he has to do. But at least he knows what he wants to do. So, you know, the effort to both pull his paper out of the backpack is a struggle. Because he's not only struggling physically with the messy content of his bag, but... ...he's also struggling... ...to remember his writing that he knows who his dad is telling him he won't be there. So, yeah, he kind of fakes a internship with the city of Austin. And his dad... ...maybe he just accepts it. Or at least maybe he thinks his dad will not investigate it. But he knows he's got to come up with the money to get to Austin and to live there just for the summer. So, he goes back to the place where he is. To wish him and remember that I'll pay for him. And figure out why that is. But that is the case.
