Okay. Um, Thursday. We're going to be in the tunnel. We're going to be in the tunnel. We're going to be in the tunnel. The other way around. We're going to be in the train to figure out what. Chris is first. Um, a counter with. He will arrive in Austin and have found a place to stay. At a co-op. Kind of a poorly run. Individuals. Maybe it's run by an old woman. But, uh, in order to find a job, he decided to become a language coach for this, uh, a tow full certification program just off campus. And, uh, he's assigned to the group. We'll appear to be from the. The Eastern Mediterranean. Eastern Europe. One of them are. I want to say. Uh, a Greek Cypriot, we could say. Uh, we need to characterize. I mean, uh, as the. We have to be. The historic nation. We have to be. Just geographic. Um. I could be. I could be. I love me. Students who speak. Maybe French and Arabic. I need to push up on their English. Just to make sure there's other Arabs in the group. Interesting. Well, uh, a Turkish student. Definitely to represent each of the Ottoman past. Um. And the Cpriot, the Greek Cpriot. Or perhaps a. Croatians. Students well, or Macedonian. And. A. A. A. Have conversations with. With Chris as he helps them along. They're language. And this could be an opportunity to create some humor. And to digress. The story for a little. And Chris, well, I've barely tried to. Uh, tease them about their actual. An institution. An organization skills. Um, they will be opportunities for. You know, to poke fun. I really. The meaning and translation. Especially English. Or. Questions about Texas. I forgot the way. Meeting is going to happen because. Today we will be. You know, they'll give maybe they'll give them a log into a website. And. Um, they can introduce themselves online. And, uh, they can. Beside where to meet from there. We got to figure out where she wants to meet. What's a good place. Someone who might be living in less campus along with others. Good meat. Maybe. Obviously, the most. Logical conclusion. But it could be. You joke about the food. They eat. You know, and. You know, someone could. Even not like this because. They can tell he's a veteran. You know, they can show the irony of someone coming to the US. To learn English, but really not. Liking the government of the US. And they have to be. You have to make sure that you. The. Close relation. To. These characters. I mean. Representing foreigners and. Story can. Be very tricky. If you. You've never met someone from that country. Never been to that country. So. Um. For. The. The into the city You know. U. Well, Wu. He comes to a commemoration. I think that's. And. That's, we error, this is for the these two. and ten students in this group. And it's possible there could be some older ones too. And the whole point of this is that Chris has to figure out how to entertain them. Not entertain them, but create opportunities for them to talk and practice what they're learning. And it's possible that the program would give them a stipend as well or an expense account to places that maybe they're allowed one big trip too. So that's what we're going to do. Anyway, as you get to meet everyone, I mean that's going to be silent. I can't really know that much about her. It's going to want to know about her. Is he going to be drawn to her in the very beginning? Probably not. But it'll be characterizing the way that someone is disinterested in something that they really want to know about. Is that initial fear of just hiring it too intensely? And trying to stay away? They're trying to be often obsessed with the candy store. Avoiding the girl you may have a crush on. So anyway, we have to think about that tension and what it's like for him when he first meets her. And what will, I mean, a good one. Well, she'd be average. Why not? I mean, there's no reason why she has to be fat or skinny. There's no reason why she has to. She's definitely a settler. She's not... She has a Muslim name. She's not going to be a part of her identity at all. It's just a name only. Now, she can recite the Quran the way people recite Shakespeare. It's part of the literary repertoire. But yeah, the literary landscape for Arabs, but it's not something that she thinks about every day. What about her would be common-queen Egyptian. I have to think about that once a month. But maybe something about her. You know, it's first impression that he's looking at someone from the wall of a tomb. That might be interesting. You know, a musician or someone to look at the paintings of tombs and untapairite. And look at what was represented there. At least how the females represented it. So, it's going to explain to Christian that he can't talk. And that will be interesting. Because how do you explain? You know, maybe there's... Would it be another girl? Or would it be another guy? Maybe a meaner befriend another girl who is very sympathetic and understanding. Is there... You say there's a living girl? That would be interesting. You say that instead of there being a Lebanese boy and a here there's a Lebanese girl who... And the Lebanese Christian girl who speaks up for her. Is there any way... Is she the only Egyptian think about that too? Is there a reason why there couldn't be another Egyptian? I don't know. So anyway... And what kind of clothes does she wear? And she's... It's important that her character appear familiar the way a sister that you've never met or a family member that you... I've wanted to meet for so long. And you've just never been able to meet them. You know what they're supposed to look like. You're familiar with that. In many ways, but you're just not familiar with the actual presence. So that's another thing you think you're asked. What else? What will the group want to initially talk about? Where will they initially want to go? The United States. It's a summer where the economy's not doing so well. If the economy has Austin doing this, maybe. What do they want to do? The students ever want to do if they can't. They can't... Do they go to the movies? That might be fun, but then they're not talking. But they can go to the movies with the point of talking about afterwards. So that might be a good one. Do something that's completely American. Yeah, maybe bold. What else can they do? They rent a van. They put their money together. They rent a van. There's got to be enough just for a van. And they go hang out at the lake, maybe. What else? It shows them not the nail. That's the possibility too. It can take them to long-porn caverns. Do you want to go one more caverns? Any? Could they be stronger than that? I'm not really sure. You can go have barbecue. You know that, that's going to be an interesting topic. You can each talk about how the meat is similar. The part is similar in their own countries. What else? I think about six straight one night. And they can walk around six straight as a great opportunity to describe society as a whole. American society. Our western society for that matter. The desire to completely escape the office work and mundane the nuclear family. Celebrate in a kind of a called an intermediary space where there's a lot of people who are not interested in the world. And of course, you know, it would be nice to be there in the night in six straight. They could go to different clubs, see different forms of American music. So that would be another one. I have to look at the guys' thoughts and things today. Anyway, again, this part of the story is really one to talk about the superficial. You know, you want to come in and have a opinion of the various ways of the story. But at the same time, you want to show how these meetings recurrent, just the gripe of things like these cycle of life continues and so do the meetings. And each meeting could represent one aspect of life that is always there from celebration to sports to do. And maybe the movies are set and they didn't know it. They could go to the mall to go shopping and talk about the visualization. But the point is that these meetings will definitely get you funny, but you know, survey for the entire story in one. And over time, about the meetings, you know, he has to figure out ways to talk to a meaner. And so each one of these things can be the way life progresses, but well at the same time, and perhaps we could put further each time with her. And maybe we could speak to him, maybe as he immediately is frustrated, because he can't talk to her. And that's when he talks to artists, the sugar team, who helps him pack into her web history. And that's when he decides to try and talk to her. For example, her thing he might find is that she's a research in cotton. He's trying to understand how cotton grows and what is a life of a plant. And maybe he thinks she's an agriculture student. And so maybe he tries to show her what he thinks, the agriculture, whether it be whole foods or the mom, or maybe they go to her foods, because there's a cafe there, and they can talk about cotton. That's one aspect of it. What else? Another aspect of her life, her web history that he would be curious about. The music, so you know, he goes definitely on to take her in a six-threaded show, how the music, you know, definitely like her. He's trying to entice her to get her to talk, because he's not into playing that. But these places are playing music you like. And maybe she will be researching music in that time. You just help to go there. And that is... You know, maybe she's begins to research her own. I think she's going to take a few weeks to get her house ready. She's a whole group, so I watch a child getting born where they watch. They see people in the emergency room. And we even see a crazy man. Maybe she feels a meaner approach to a woman, holding her stomach. A woman who has sex with kids, maybe her kids are about to go to college or what, of course. A motion seen by her. I mean, it could be holding hands with this woman, and they can be complete strangers yet, no exactly. What each other's feeling. Okay, I'm getting dropped here. Close to home. And a lot to think about. There's some really good opportunities here for funny material. Poignant material. You have to talk about people's daily lives. But you have to present it in a way that they've never seen or something that's funny. You cannot regurgitate. You can refrain and rebrand, but you can't regurgitate. Think about the cafe. Think about the hospital. Think about six streets. And maybe they visit the Capitol and talk about government. And maybe they visit a portrait of George Bush and people complaining about him. Or they like it. It's an excellent opportunity to talk about politics. There's portraits right there, but it's also. He's no longer president. He's the legacy from which he comes from. And a lot that people want to complain about or. So that's another thing. It's important to note that he's not only doing this the whole time. Although it may be the case that this is what people want to read. You want to talk about people or talk about Chris doing other things at the time. Maybe he's a. Maybe he finds a job or maybe he's. He's fixing up the boarding house. He knows. He can repaint it. And he can remodel the place. On the cheap. And that's how she went from the state. That's probably a good one. So that's one thing. How does he find this place? I obviously have chipped Craig's list and asked him before he goes. And what kind of people does he run into trying to get this place? How many people does he get rejected by before he finally settles it in on me. The boarding house. I mean Austin will have vacancy. But it will all be a time of change where. And there will be plenty of places to stay with. Will he be the only one wanting this place? Probably not. You could frame it as a story where. You know, he doesn't find the places looking for. And ends up staying at this other place. Perhaps not where he was looking. And maybe it is on a cold attack. Which is kind of like a dead end. I'm done for now.
