January:
One way to keep track of team and match information:
Schedule conditioning for the week or two before the February practices start.
Meet AD at the Athletics room and grab the gear to take inventory of it.
Player needs
Reach out to Rich Hutchinson, President of RPTC
request updated code for the court closet
I can spot 300 practice balls to begin the season. That equates to 50 balls per court, more than enough.
SSU courts?
UTR can work for co-ed teams and leagues!
Needs
More game balls (2x box of 15 cans was just enough, but a 3rd box would have been better)
Andrew Khoury would like Wilson balls... For the W!
Wishlist
New score cards for the courts
Request a few more small & medium team shirts in 2022 but never received them
Shorts to match the jerseys

Some things that I've realized as I've been coaching...
Tennis is a Gentlemen's / Lady's sport
Girl from Victory Academy (with the dog for her blood-sugar) commented on how nice our players are.
She specifically called out Kobe.
But, that was reflected on ALL of us!
Proof that tennis is a team sport.
Swearing...others don't want to hear it.
Being loud & obnoxious...even if you are right, you don't need to be obnoxious
Since tennis is a team sport...
What we did well...
Drills
Managing courts
Matches
1st match against a team, play based on our ranking
2nd match, change the line-up to match the other team's ability assuming we win the 1st
Need to do better...
Identify desires up front
Show up, and on time, unless you tell me you aren't coming
