So, naturally I've been trying to figure out how to make all my kind of personal creative works marriage into one story, you know sketch friends and international, my sketches in general. I'm trying to figure out what to do with my mom's stories and all that. And I think I want to kind of flesh this idea out so that I understand it a little better. Basically, you know the story is going to be a composite novel for young adults, but it will include many illustrations. But the story itself will be about a boy or a girl, I'm not sure. Trying to find his mother. The difficult part, but the boy will be in London and he will be under the mistaken assumption that one of the most difficult parts of the story will be in London. One of his father's pen pals is his mother. And the only reason he concludes this is because he discovers, you know, his father's letters. And thinks that this one woman who wrote to his father from Texas must be his mother because his father had helped her. And he will leave Texas and come to England. But what I don't think the boy knows, or I'm not sure if he does know, is that this woman was not. And he was intent on staying in England but rather going on to Cairo. And so that's what he discovers. But, you know, trying to find out who this person is, what he's trying to find out who she is and why she left. So that's the problem. And maybe, you know, she's his godmother, you know. Maybe he already knows that. Maybe he's looking for a real mom. Maybe that fits better. Maybe he already knows that this woman and his dad were friends but not lovers. And who knows. And maybe, you know, his parents, although, you know, he didn't know them very well. You know, maybe they were both Florence's friends, Florence being his mother. I mean, Florence being his godmother. So anyway. And what I think is the more interesting side of this compositeness of this approach is the chain letter. So in some ways it'll be a chain composite novel. But hold on, one second. Pauseing.

Okay, starting again. So chain letters obviously a letter that allows people to... Well, it's essentially like a thread online. I send a letter to A. A either takes the exact contents of my letter or copies it or paraphrases it into another letter and sends it on to B. B does the same with my letter and A's letter and sends it on to C. And so, yeah, it can get a bit unwieldy, but also depending on how the chain goes, you can get very interesting. And so, that's what group Florence was a part of. She wasn't just a part of your typical penpal. So I mean, it started out that way, but she got bored really quick and... And that's perhaps what the first chapter will be about. We'll be about this kid Nigel, call him Nigel for now, explaining this in the first chapter. And one of the cool things is the sketches that people would provide. You know, you couldn't take a photo. In some cases, let's say someone had a magazine and they clipped it, well, maybe they wanted to keep it. So, instead of clipping it, they'd draw it. And they'd keep the clippings for themselves. So, that could be one of the excuses for having the sketches. I'm not really sure. Maybe Nigel's mother traveled the world and was... You know a sketcher. And she sketched the world instead of just taking photographs of it. So, what else? And they're like just personal sketches. So there's no reason why this stuff has to be like art school quality. But what else? So, but going back to the story of Pharaoh's blue bonnet, you know, that's another thing about this chain letters. Every part, link in the chain is different. You know, there's just some people that you talk to that you can't do anything about. They fabricate what they tell you. So, maybe at one point in time, the group decides to make a chain story. Maybe that's the whole point, right? And the chain story is... Yeah, the chain story. Let's see if I can't find that. I gotta Google that and see if someone's already used it. Or words and chains. That's another good title. That suggests imprisonment. So anyway. And the Nigels essentially trying to find the missing link. He wants to know what happened to Florence. He heard about their story. And through his, you know, his dad's letters. Maybe he tries to go to Egypt. Maybe he doesn't. Maybe, you know, it's a... The whole aspect of, you know, the pen pals and the chain stories. Because what sets the format and the premise kind of like of the story. So the reader, when they read that first, either story or chapter, they're gonna know, okay, this is gonna be an interesting ride. But each one of the stories will offer a type of perspective. And that perspective will kind of tell the reader. Really, who is this Florence? And so... I need to kind of do a rough draft of what Nigel... of how Nigel kind of explains what he's up to. So... That's probably I'm guessing how it's going to occur. But not, you know, absolutely sure. So, I'll just leave it there for now.
