Upon their arrival Horace and Rosa are greeted by his family and taken to his aunt’s flat for an arrival feast.  Describe the meal.

When the meal is over, the two share a ride back to Horace’s flat.  But as Horace promised, he takes her to a nearby hotel as per their agreement.  On the way to the hotel, Rosa questions him about his “version” of “their” story that he related to his aunt.

Rosa begins arguing with Horace because he tells his aunt that Rosa is his wife.  Not that she is his fiancée/ girlfriend as he originally proposed.  Metaphor for arranged marriages or facilitated marriages.  One doesn’t really know who they’re married to until years later.

What hotel?  How far is Horace’s parents apartment?  Does Horace drive or do they hire a car?  Personal driver?  Does Rosa eventually ask Horace to stay with her?  How?  Is their little plot to deceive his family exposed?

Perhaps the aunt comes to Horace’s flat unannounced and he must make excuses for her while he secretly contacts the driver to get her and sneak her back into his place.

The driver of course must go to Rosa’s hotel room and tell her there’s an emergency.  This is at nighttime, so it’s quite awkward to make any excuse that Rosa is out shopping.

Perhaps the aunt knows what’s up and insists on taking the couple to the grocery store for proper food and supplies.  On the way she secretly takes them to a witch-doctor.  Does Horace object at this point?  What kind of spell does she put on them?  ...
