(Instant Transit - Part 9)
Florence stared at the photograph in disbelief. How did that boy take a picture of the Eiffel Tower? He was gone and so was his mother.
Someone is having a laugh at my expense, she thought to herself. I'll bet Allen Funt and his crew from Candid Camera are spying on me right now. This time she stood up and scanned every inch of the gate. No cameras. No creepy guys hiding behind large potted plants.
Ha! She exclaimed. This is cannot be happening!
She returned to the bag and had a second look inside. What she found left her speechless. It was an airline ticket with her name on it. It had today's date on it. It was for the next flight to Paris.
The PA system came on and started to hum. "Ladies and gentlemen, flight 33 non-stop to Paris is now ready for boarding."
She had no time to think. This is NOT happening! What should I do?
