TV journalist Lisa Ling (born August 30, 1973) has appeared on The View, National Geographic Explorer, The Oprah Winfrey Show, CNN, and PBS. At 25 she was named the senior war correspondent for Channel One News, which took her to two dozen countries, and since then she’s continued to tackle tough subjects like sex crimes and drug trafficking. She cowrote Somewhere Inside with her younger sister, Laura, after Laura’s 2009 release from a North Korean prison that made international news.
