Elizabeth Goudge

English novelist Elizabeth Goudge (born April 24, 1900) won the Carnegie Medal for her 1946 children's fantasy novel, The Little White Horse. Over half a century later, author J.K. Rowling said the beloved book helped influence her Harry Potter series.
